Root Canal Therapy

A tooth that has an inflamed or diseased nerve can be saved with root canal treatment. A root canal procedure involves removal of the pulp tissues that are inside the tooth and root of the tooth. The inside of the tooth is cleaned out, rinsed, and sealed. A crown will usually be needed following root canal treatment to protect the tooth.
